In the reception while trying to check in, the same person was bartending at the restaurant. To arrive to the elevator we had to pass thru the restaurant zigzaguing thru the tables while customers were eating. The room smelled like it hadnt been opened for the last 10 years, the sheets were not fitted neither clean. The bathroom had drips of dryed blood in the wall (we prefer to think they were from a dead mosquito...), the shower curtain was older than me (33) and dirty, there was not even a soap bar. Etc, etc. All of this for 50€!! Traveled a lot and this was absolutely the worth experience ever with an hotel.

The staff is welcoming, the hotel has an old fashion and charming style just near the city centre of Besalu. the swiming pool of the hotel is perfet.

The rooms were in an unacceptable condition, with damp and mould on walls, and blood on towels. You should not recommend this hotel.

very clean room and comfortable spacious. Relatively good value and staff friendly and efficient.
directly on busy roundabout so noisy unless balcony doors closed. further from centre than i had thought - a 20 minute walk. If taking a car, leave it parking in figueres centre a problem during the day.

The location was excellent.
The hotel does have a swimming pool but it is not in use. We did go up the steps to the pool & found the steps to be uneven and slippy. The gate to the pool area was locked and we could see red and while tape across the pool to indicate danger. The water was green/black. From the state of the garden and pool it was obvious it had not been used in a long time. Everywhere was overgrown. The bedroom was very poor. One side lamp did not have a shade and the other was broken. The furniture was old and dusty. There was a hole in the bed cover. The shower curtain was stained and there was a hole in the bathroom floor.
